Marley originally got certified as an open water diver here in New Hampshire in 2000. He went on to take more classes and quickly worked his way up to Dive Master. Once he became a Dive Master he got the chance to work with other divers and realized he wanted to become a certified instructor.
After completing countless dives, including everything from wreck, cave, deep, and even ice diving, Marley completed his instructor course and began teaching for NAUI. Marley is certified in all aspects of SCUBA instruction ranging from Junior Open Water Diver all the way up to Assistant Dive Instructor.

Extend your bottom time and shorten your surface interval which is excellent if you are on a dive boat or short on time. Learn how to choose the proper blend of Nitrox for your dive profile, determine maximum depth limits for your Nitrox mixture, analyze your breathing mixture, and plan and safely execute each dive.
Search and Recovery Diver
Have you or your dive buddy ever lost something during a dive or dropped something off the back of a boat? I find things underwater that do not belong there during many of my dives; anything from an old tire to a 100 year old ship anchor. Be able to help clean up the environment or maybe even bring home a conversation piece! Learn correct search patterns, usage of lift bags, navigation skills, lead other divers, and proper rigging and knot tying.
Rescue Diver 15+
There is no better feeling then being able to help someone else in need. Take the Rescue Diver course and learn how to respond to both in water and on land emergencies. The NAUI Rescue Diver course is an excellent way to improve your comfort level in the water by giving you the skills to act appropriately when help is needed. Learn how to handle emergencies efficiently, perform water surface rescues and rescues from depth involving divers and non-divers, learn life-saving skills to be used at any time, and certify in First Aid/CPR/AED for divers and non divers.
Drysuit Diver
We are lucky to have great diving here in New England, but sometimes the water is really cold! I can remember my first ice dive fifteen years ago, I was the only one in an 8MIL wetsuit and before I touched bottom I knew why everyone else was in dry suits! After switching to a dry suit for ice dives and cold water dives, I was much warmer before, during, in-between, and after my dives. Learn what to look for in buying your own dry suit, properly maintain your new investment, maximize the use of your dry suit, and stay comfortable longer in cold water.
First Aid, CPR and AED
American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED certification is important if you want to be prepared to help in an emergency.
I am a certified American Red Cross trainer and can bring the training to your school or workplace, or work with you individually to develop life-saving skills.
Rescue Diver certification requires current certification in First Aid, CPR and AED.
It is highly recommended that all divers learn these important life-saving skills.
Night Diver
If you are Advanced certified and you enjoy diving at night then this is the next certification for you. Do you remember your first night dive during your Advanced course? Most divers think that diving at night is unbelievable! Ever wondered what else is out at night? Come explore the underwater world with two night dives that will fine tune your night diving skills.
Deep Diver 18+
If you have ever wanted to go deeper at your favorite dive site but found yourself limited to the 60ft-100ft mark, then this course is for you. You have basic knowledge of diving from your open water training, are better at controlling breathing, and understand the effects of diving on your body...now you are ready for improved off-gassing techniques.
Wreck Diver 18+
If you are Advanced Diver certified, take this external wreck diver course. Experience the thrill of jumping off of a boat and descending down to a huge ship that has been seen by few since it sank. Learn about the hazards and risks of wreck diving, be able to safely explore sunken boats and aircraft, select the best type of dive equipment, and perform light salvage.
